Thank you my 84 year old Father was doing just fine,he was having weakness in his legs ,an infection in lungs, nothing dramatic for an 84 year old man .
One you mentioned gave him a mini stroke .They have him on high dosage of Levaquin , intravenous , we demanded they take him off then continue to give him two at a time 500 MG , I just called threatened to sue them if they do not stop as ordered , he can not even stand now !Thrush yeast infection of the mouth , terrible !!!
I took Levaquin a few times in the last 4 years and had long lasting reactions also. The last time I took it after I had a respiratory infection the side effects never went away. I still suffer from increased pulse rate, insomnia, and other effects that cause me to be depleted. I have found that L-Theanine has helped me to get by day to day to deal with the stuff that continues to go on. L-Theanine is a amino acid that helps with the stress and has other effects hat are not yet proven.
Animals in the US food supply are given fluoroq’s and we eat them. Then we go to the doctor and take pills for infections that they are already immuned to. What a devious plot to have control.
Interesting enough…in the movie Dr. Strangelove…General Ripper parlays onto Mandrake the most heinous communist plot, while they are in his office, shooting out the window with a machine gun…FLUORIDATION. “In our water, salt, flour…” Are FLUOROQUINOLONES named so, to constitute a slap in the face? Bet on it.
how are you doing now? is it any better? God be with you… this is such a travesty. i was poisoned as well, a year and a half ago by levaquin 750 mg tabs given to me for a simple sinus infection… life will never be the same.
try myofacial massage therapy. it is normal to have bacteria in the prostate. you should not be taking all that cipro. myofacial massage forces blood into the prostate. prostatitis, which you are describing, is an autoimmune problem, inflammation, not infection. don’t even believe what the sensitivity tests say, they are tainted by the drug companies. MYOFACIAL MASSAGE THERAPY.
i have re-curing prostate infection and have been on doxcenlyne and bacterium, they both dont help, only cipro seems to work,( i have taken it 1-3 times a year for over 17 yrs!!! anyone know of any alternatives? i thank cipro might be the cause to my anxity isues , nervos breakdowns and all over body pains and ahces.
Just learn about :-
The Dr Beck Protocol (including MMS)
Rife Machines, and
Rick Simpson oil
to cure most infections, cancers, and heal the body.
Look into Rick Simpson’s “Run from the Cure”. That oil might help you.
The Dr. probably prescribed this drug to a lot of patients because many complained that other drugs which were safer and more effective “left a bad taste” or `”I have to take it twice a day?”. There was never any need for this class of drugs except for rare infections and hospitalized patients. I feel sympathy for those who have had bad side effects, but this is a lesson to other patients, stop being wimps and take the proven, safe drugs.
I was prescribed levaquin for bronchitis a few weeks ago. I made it to the second day. It was an extremely horrible experience. I did not sleep for two days, I could not stop crying and I did not know why. Do not take levaquin!
I just CAN’T BELIEVE THIS POISON IS STILL BEING PRESCRIBED. the doctor who prescribed it to me discounted everything i told her, she simply did not care that she ruined my life by prescribing this POISON.
i’m continuing to loose soo much weight
my chest muscle still hurts…
i took the pill dude, i went to the ER, i was in shock, chest pain, hard breathing, i thought i lost it, i went to shock, i almost died. hyper ventilated til i purple. i lost so much weight. my mom cried. i would like to talk to you to get comfort… no one knew the hell we went through
The side affects are horrendous!!! It does state that it can cause death why a dr. would be so willing to give this med. out like candy baffels the mind. I guess i will have to look for another pulmonologist, i have had 2 already and they BOTH gave levaquin any time i needed an antibiotic.. It is so hard to find a dr. that abides by the oath he took, i imagine they are out there but far and few unfortunately.
When i learned about all the side affects i did not want to take it any more however my pulmonologyst says this is the ONLY antibiotic he will give his patients and if i didnt want it to get a script from my gen. practitioner who also likes to give Cipro. I heard this was a last resort antibiotic! Why do they give it so freely?! It wasa originally for Anthrax poisening!
i had 750 mg. ivp drip Levaquin for 7 days for pnumonia then 500mg to take upon discharge for the next 5 days. I have since been on it approx 10 x’s in the last 2 yrs 6 mos. I guess i have been EXTREMELY lucky so far!!!!! I have noticed my sleep pattern is totally messed up i am awake off and on throughout the night.
Hi!
Apparanly someone did an experiment on dogs and apparantly the fluoroquinolone antibiotic they used had similar effects on tendons as a dietarily- induced magnesium deficiency:
just google: “magnesium tendon site:gov” it’s called “Effects of Ciprofloxacin and Magnesium Deficiency on the Extracellular Matrix Proteins and Integrins of Tendons in Immature Dogs.”
it’s been 3 months now, I’ve been taking magnesium for about 1 month, also I’ve not worried so much about the symptoms and now I can walk much better (still some strange sensations, including muscle twitching, but I can walk several kilometers per day with no big problems)
Hi!
I also took this medication (it’s tavanic here in my coutry). I also started having problems in my legs after taking it. I even stopped working because of this.
Due to my simptoms doctors have told me to start taking magnesium, I also was pretty anxious because of this problem (and other stuff that happened to me), and they also told me that the symptoms could be due to anxiety.
You’re the dummy! Levaquin is poison! Why don’t you give it to yourself or your loved ones and see what happens?!? I took just one 750mg dose over a week ago and am still suffering from excessive insomnia and tingling in my feet and hands. I pray this is short-lived since I went against my doc’s advice and quit taking the drug after the first dose when I had horrible hallucinations, nightmares and 2 trips to the ER thinking I was dying! The FDA has had their palms greased on this one!
Please DO NOT take Levaquin. I am a recently floxed 36 year old woman who was healthy before taking 13 Levaquin pills for a sinus infect. Never been so sick in my life (could barely walk for 5 days) – I am 4 wks out from taking last dose and still have alot of pain in elbows, knees & burning (nerve pain) in my lower back. My New Doctor has seen many patients suffering from the extreme ADRs of Levaquin. This is really bad stuff and if you do the research online it is obvious.
I was given levaquin 500 mg a while back for an infection it sorta helped but then today i took it around 1:30 an woke up around 4:15 feelin horrible i felt so irritable and restless and my blood pressure drop i wouldnt give this medicine to my worst enemy. I hope they do take it off the market forever and any other medicine that produces such horrific and long term side efects.
Someone tell this guy about the miracle healing properties of Hemp bud oil.
Oh great!! My mom is on this among other things. It’s for a UTI infection from her cathetor. As if she doesn’t have enough problems. She’s been having pain. I wonder if that’s what it’s from.
I empathize about your insomnia. I’ve suffered greatly from that.
